A313 Lifting Body Milk with vitamin A for smooth, firm-looking body skin

A313 for the Body: Vitamin A Care Beyond the Face

Most people have a settled routine for their face, yet the skin below the chin rarely gets the same attention. That is a missed opportunity: the skin on your arms, legs and body makes up most of your skin, it ages too, and in summer it is exposed to more sun, salt and chlorine than at any other time of year. The good news is that the same approach that works on your face (gentle vitamin A, sensible hydration, consistency) works just as well from the neck down.

Why body skin has different needs

Body skin is not simply more face. It has fewer oil glands than facial skin, particularly on the lower legs and forearms, so it produces less natural oil and dries out faster. It also deals with friction from clothing, hot showers and, in summer, long days of sun and water. Over time, the upper arms, thighs and décolleté are often the first areas where skin starts to look and feel less firm.

At the same time, body skin is generally thicker and more resilient than facial skin, so it tends to tolerate active ingredients well. Drier, often neglected, yet robust: that combination makes the body a logical place for vitamin A based skincare.

Vitamin A is not only for your face

Retinyl palmitate, the vitamin A ester used across the A313 range, helps protect the skin's collagen and supports its natural renewal. In practice, that means it improves the appearance of dry skin and softens the look of fine lines. It is also more stable than pure retinol and degrades less when exposed to air and light, which is a practical advantage for a product applied over larger areas of skin.

Inside the A313 Lifting Body Milk

The A313 Lifting Body Milk (250 ml) applies this thinking to the body. It has a fluid, lightweight texture that spreads easily and absorbs without a greasy film, which matters in warm weather. Three ingredients do the main work:

  • Retinyl palmitate: the stable vitamin A ester described above, for the appearance of smoother, more supple skin.
  • Pea extract (Pisum sativum): known for helping the skin maintain its elasticity and tone, and for supporting it against external influences.
  • Caffeine: a familiar ingredient in body care, used for its firming effect on the look of the skin.

In the brand's study under dermatological supervision, 20 volunteers used the body milk once a day for 28 days. All of them found their skin more hydrated and firmer, 95% found it softer and more supple, 95% found the skin on their arms more toned, and the product showed very good skin tolerance.

How to use a vitamin A body milk

  • Once a day is enough. Apply to clean, dry skin, focusing on areas prone to losing firmness: upper arms, thighs and décolleté.
  • Evening works well in summer. Vitamin A skincare and strong sun are a poor daytime pairing, so apply it after your evening shower and let it work overnight.
  • Keep SPF in the picture. Skin that is on show in summer should be protected with sunscreen during the day, whether or not you use vitamin A products.
  • Follow the instructions on the packaging and introduce any vitamin A product gradually if your skin is not used to it.

Simple summer habits that support body skin

  • Rinse off salt and chlorine after swimming, and moisturise while the skin is still slightly damp.
  • Keep showers lukewarm rather than hot; heat strips the skin's natural oils.
  • Choose lighter textures in warm months, such as a milk rather than a rich butter, so daily use feels effortless.
  • Consistency beats intensity: a modest routine done daily shows more than an elaborate one done occasionally.

Body skin responds to the same patient, consistent care as your face; it just rarely gets the chance. If you are pregnant, or if you have sensitive skin, consult a skincare professional before adding vitamin A products to your routine. And as always, buy authentic A313 through official channels, so you know exactly what you are applying.
